Homesteading Guide (“we,” “us”) operates homesteadingguide.com. This policy explains what information we collect from visitors and how it’s used.

Email sign-ups. If you subscribe via one of our sign-up forms, we collect your email address (and name, if provided) through MailerLite, our email service provider. We use this to send the content, guides, or offers you signed up for. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email. MailerLite’s own privacy policy governs how they process this data on our behalf.

Comments. If comments are enabled on a post and you leave one, we collect the name, email, and website you provide along with your comment text and IP address, standard WordPress behavior, to help detect spam.

Cookies. Standard WordPress cookies may be set if you comment or log in. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel) on this site as of the date above.

Purchases. Digital products (guides, printables) are sold through Payhip, a separate platform. Payment and order information is handled directly by Payhip under its own privacy policy, we do not receive or store your payment details.

Security. This site uses Wordfence for security monitoring, which may log visitor IP addresses and request data to detect malicious activity.

Social media tools. We use an internal tool (“Social HQ”) to manage and publish content to our own YouTube, TikTok, and other social accounts. This tool only accesses our own account’s basic profile information and publishing permissions, it does not collect, access, or process data belonging to any other user of those platforms.

Your rights. You can ask us to tell you what data we hold about you, or to delete it, by contacting us (see Contact page). We will respond within a reasonable time.

Changes. We may update this policy from time to time; the “Last updated” date above will reflect the most recent revision.
